The Brains Behind Divers Den

Chaz Kafer

I was originally certified at Divers Den back in 1971 and fell in love with the sport. By 1975 my interest was so inspired I became a NASDS instructor and began teaching. In 1981 I stepped out of real life and went to work for Anthony's Key Resort in Roatan as the resident photo pro and wound up staying there until 1989. My love for photography has long been my passion for traveling the world searching for the ultimate photographs. My works have been published in National Geographic, Skin Diver, Scuba times, Ocean Realm, Parade, The Sun magazines as well as, The Sun and City Papers. In 1995 I was awarded the SSI Pro 5000 Platinum Certification. That was also the same year I purchased Divers Den and I guess the rest is history
